OUR COACHES

The passion and dedication of our coaches is what makes our sessions possible. DFJ Multisports is currently run by a team of four; two experienced, qualified and DBS checked coaches, and two youth coaches who are working with us to develop their coaching skills.

Coaches are regularly offered training, where they work alongside more experienced athletes to gain the necessary experience.

With any of our coaches, you can expect:

  • Up to-date enhanced DBS checks

  • Qualifications in range of sports

  • Emergency First Aid training

  • Safeguarding training

  • Strong behaviour management

  • Professionalism and reliability

  • Passion, commitment and dedication

Our coaches are able to build excellent relationships in a short period of time with both children and parents. They work hard to provide fun and engaging lessons whilst ensuring children feel safe and welcome. With heaps of enthusiasm and a passion for sport, our coaches truly are dedicated to inspiring our young sports participants.

Dan started DFJ Multisports and is the Head Sports Coach, also leading Coaching Development. He carefully plans our sessions, coaches and oversees every child's journey with us, eager to inspire their drive for sport. Dan has always had a passion for sport- he started playing grass-roots football at age 4! He signed as a striker for Southampton Football Club at 18 and played whilst studying Sports Coaching at Southampton Solent University.

Hi, my name is Dan. I have been teaching for 9 years and qualified as a Secondary School Teacher in Australia in 2013.  I loved my time there and enjoyed seeing different cultures and parts of the world. I had fun swimming with sharks while I was therePart of my teaching career was also in Australia for 2 years! I have worked with sports companies including Planet Sport to aid teachers’ professional development of PE sessions and after school sports clubs; and GoSport School Sports Partnership as a Sports Coach delivering Primary School lessons and after school clubs.

My spare time is usually spent coaching my youth football teams.  I also enjoy football in all forms as well as spending time with my family and watching films at home and at the cinema (hopefully soon)!

Hi, I'm Chloe, I study Business Level 3 Extended Diploma at Brockenhurst College. With a lot of experience in a variety of sports, I love to share my learning and skills with young children to help them develop further. Teaching ballet really helped me to develop great leadership and behavioural management skills with young children. Whilst growing up, I was a Rainbow, Brownie, and a Guide! Doing this helped me learn so many skills including teamworking and leadership. I also supported Guides sessions for younger children- keeping them engaged and ensuring fun!
